I had a sound on my digital recorder. It had some sort of harbour feeling. To amplify that feeling i used pkoracs recording of "marina in kolding (denmark) in wind". So part modular synth part field recording. (https://freesound. Org/s/90721/).

Some generative campfire sfx made with sunvox. The crackling sounds were made by taking some highpassed white noise, ring modulating it with some more white noise, and then using a noise gate to usilate the loudest 'crackles'. The rumbling was created using lowpassed white noise. Everything was sent into a reverb and a stereo expander.

Recorded at the denver colorado botanic gardens at approximately 8:50pm 2017-08-16, temperature approximately 23'c. I followed the sound of the insects in the gardens to a tree-filled spot and stood stationary to create the binaural recording. This is a recording of a very old typewriter. I had a digital audio recorder that records 96/32 wav files onto an sd card. I took the recording inside an antique shop of a classic typewriter for sale, used some noise reduction on it, and added some dither. Here you go. Use it for any project you may have.

A morphagene reel culled from an improvisation i made on a eurorack modular synth. Qu-bit electronix scanned is the sole voice here. Splices in the reel are ordered from somewhat delicate (taps, pulses, etc. ) to pretty chaotic noise. All recorded into a zoom h6.

I recorded for 1,5h. The synth gave me some strange slow crescendo. Don't really know why. This is the last 30 min. Space drone sci-fi sound.

Lots of electrical noise. I got this sound using an aux cable from my laptop to a broken 3. 5mm to 5. 25mm adapter to my mixer. Noises were generated by my fingers scrubbing around the laptop's trackpad and clicking keys on the keyboard. Also my air conditioner is generating a constant noise. Every few minutes there is a neat glitchy sound, i'm guessing it's from some data being processed on the laptop. .

The oscillators where tuned to the same tone one octave apart. Well. . . Not exactly. After having recorded i measured the frequencies 228,8 hz and 117,7 hz. . . But that made the output from the ring modulator interesting. What is generative with this? i modulate amplitude of the sounds and the decay for all thee sounds. This also affects the rhythm sound.

More rain and distant thunder recorded from an open window. I recorded it with an optimus tape deck and an old microphone (the tape i recorded it on was a maxell ur), i then used audacity and the same tape deck to convert it to digital. If you use it please tell me what you did with it, i would love to know.

Classic creaky door. Recorded using blue yeti mic direct to digital. A new door that sounds 150 years old. Wooden environment (workshop) with very little background sound. Crisp, clean recordings, edited for main content but these are dry and raw waiting for you to add ambience! please use freely for any purpose incl. Commercial - no credit of any kind is required. Recorded with only a small digital video camera at a cafe in pushkar, india. As i sat by the lake one afternoon, two indians sat down on the ground in front of me and began playing this and singing. There is background cafe noises and the odd motorbike going by and beeps, people talking and its not great quality but, someome may like it. . . This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.
